Store Supervisor Jewelry-Qatar
To supervise a team of sales professionals so as to achieve established sales targets, maximize sales productivity and ensure customer satisfaction. Coordinate the distribution of merchandize to customers, set up displays and assist customers.
1.Key Responsibilities:
•Assist the Manager in setting sales goals and objectives by implementing and revising sales strategies and by directing and motivating the sales team.
•Supervise and manage the team of sales representatives by assigning duties, preparing appropriate work schedules and assigning specific sales targets.
•Monitor daily and weekly sales progress against agreed targets and lead the sales representatives in achieving them.
•Coach, motivate and supervise the sales team in sales activities including goal setting, trend analysis and sales modelling.
•Coach the sales team, as needed, on complex sales or customer service scenarios.
•Assist the Sales Manager in hiring the right people to be part of the sales team.
•Evaluate the performance of all members of the sales team as per the policies and procedures of Darwish Holding
•Lead the resolution of all concerns and problems raised by customers.
•Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters and present the same to the Sales Manager.
•Assist the Manager in identifying current and future trends that appeal to customers.
•Maintain inventory as per inventory targets and ensure all items are adequately stocked.
•Ensure all promotions are executed on time and items are merchandised as per company guidelines or brand specific planograms.
•Administer requests of the sales team for time off, shift bidding, change in work schedule, reporting and training.
•Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are met.
•Assist the Sales Manager in monitoring local competition.
•Perform any other duty, within a reasonable professional boundary, as assigned by the Manager from time to time.
2.Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Academic Qualifications and Certification:
•Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent
3.Experience:
•5 – 7 years of sales experience in the retail industry preferably within the GCC
