Job vacancy Costing Industrial Engineer

An International Lighting Company headquartered in USA with offices in Cyprus, KSA and Lebanon is hiring a Costing Industrial Engineer join their team in Roumieh-Lebanon.

Tasks & Responsible:

• Lead on product costing in close coordination with procurement, to support in product price estimation process within business need. The product costing will include representation from product architecture, delivery, operations to ensure all cost components are accurately represented
• In case of new products, optimize cost estimations for landed costing in coordination with Logistics and Procurement Specialist.
• Manage cash flow for large scale projects, in compliance with the pipeline and updated on a monthly basis
• Follow up and validate on profit margin calculations for big scale projects
• Issue stock quantities; adjust on ERP system and handles transfer of raw material to different branches in factory based on request from production.
• Supervise “Inventory count” on ERP system, fill inventory report and send it to management quarterly and yearly basis.
• Generate Pricelist for new products
• Ensure pricelist for original products is always updated
• Manage Inventory control and demand planning /forecasting
• Standardize operating procedures and operations (supply chain)
• Support in costing strategy (with different country of origin)
• Support Supply chain in diversified tasks aligned with division objectives and as per company policy
• Act as second person in charge assisting the supply chain manager
• Take initiative and have the ability to find solutions
• Act as a team player, understand the importance of communication, coordination and cooperation
• Define processes for product cost estimation
• Create and maintain templates to use to estimate product cost
• Create and monitor key metrics to compare product estimations
• Leverage these quality metrics to enhance product costing processes and templates and ensure continual improvement over time
• Manage implementation of ERP system
• Create the configurator steps to follow the nomenclature of standard product tree (finished products, and semi-finished)
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

•  Fresh to 2 years experience in Costing or Industrial Engineering
• Bachelor or Masters degreein  Industrial engineering
• ERP experience, coding, Microsoft office, Microsoft Excel VBA is a must (java is a plus)
