Job vacancy Logistic Officer

Are you able in providing logistic support and overseeing the overall logistic processes in support of the objectives of the organization ?

An international company located in Badaro Area, is looking for a Logistic Officer.

Job Requirements :

    1- Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Issue Purchase orders and Proforma invoices
• Track and follow up shipments on daily basis
• Follow-up and interact with suppliers upon readiness of the goods
• Request for quotations from forwarders and agents
• Confirm shipments with agents based on best prices and services
• Communicate readiness dates with clients
• Check and confirm shipping documents (Invoices, Packing lists, Bill of Lading,etc ) and coordinate with clearing agents
• Prepare documentary collections and Letter of credit for clients
• Communicate with OEM manufacturers on placing orders
• Liaise with Finance department to prepare payments for vendors

    2- Education and Experience:

• Experience: 2 to 3 years in shipping industry
• University degree: Bachelor degree in Logistics & Supply Chain/Business Administration

    3- Skills:

• Software/Knowhow: Microsoft office & ERP System
• Preferably trilingual: Arabic, English and French.

Negotiable

Working Hours:

Monday till Friday from 9:00 till 18:00
