FIRST LEGO League

About the product
FLL is annual competition for students between 12 to 16 year olds. The competition is launched on November of each year and organized on the March of the year to come. On November, schools from different regions gather to know more about the challenge they will be working on.
The challenge requires that the students, formed up in teams of 8 and guided by a coach, work on creating a robot to finish a number of missions on a pre-assigned table in only 2 minutes and 30 seconds; this part seeks to teach students basic programming and design skills in a student centered approach.
On the other hand students create an industrial solution to common problems we might face in our daily lives; how can we stop a tsunami from destroying a city, or how can we help elder people get their medicine on time. In this part, students learn problem solving, research and presentation and are graded on each skill equally.
All of this happens while students are guided by FLL core values of gracious professionalism and teamwork, which contributes to their final grade as much as their research and their robot.
