B.O.T (Bridge. Outsource. Transform) is an impact sourcing platform that provides high-quality digital services executed by skilled freelancers from marginalized communities in Lebanon. Our aim is to ensure women and youth have access to global and local digital work, giving them the platform to work their way up while securing a source of income.

Our services are quality assured and include in-person and remote surveys, survey digitization, research, and evaluation, among other services related to this field.

The services are managed through a team of project managers and are executed by an upskilled workforce of enumerators from low-income backgrounds. The services are fully managed from planning to execution and include a quality assurance layer abiding by a pre-agreed quality

The reach of B.O.T’s Data Collection workforce spans all Lebanese grounds making deployment and coordination fast and reliable.

History: B.O.T is a sister company of DOT Lebanon. It was developed as a social enterprise in partnership with UNICEF Lebanon under the GIL Program by UNICEF in 2017. It is the first impact sourcing platform in the Middle East and North Africa region.

B.O.T emerged from the realization of the market needs in quality data labor and a firm resolve to create income generation opportunities for the disadvantaged youth. Since its inception, B.O.T has onboarded an excess of 2,200 youth onto its digital platform and has become a further employment springboard for young persons. Out of its total workforce, 60% are aged between 21-24, 58% are females, and 7% are people with disabilities.

Social Impact: B.O.T’s workforce is composed of upskilled enumerators from low-income and underprivileged communities all over Lebanon. We work closely with the NGO DOT Lebanon to provide its graduates mainly from the UNICEF GIL program with income generation opportunities through dignified freelance employment.
