It relies on dispersing a fine layer of delicate liquid crystals between two electrically- conductive polymer sheets. By applying an electrical current to the film it can switch from;frosted (opaque) to clear (transparent) with a click of a button or with a dimmer system that allows you to control the level of privacy.
