Job vacancy Underwriting Head of Unit

One of the most reputable Insurance Companies in Lebanon is recruiting an Underwriting Head of Unit with previous experience in underwriting general business.

Job Description:

– Underwrite inquiries coming different channels (Brokers, Agents, etc.)
– Ensure proper underwriting of general insurance policies
– Prepare reinsurance slips to place business on facultative basis
– Monitor Loss ratio while practicing portfolio management across all lines of the division
– Identify and lead service and operational improvements

Requirements:

– Minimum BA/BS from a reputable university
– 7 years of relevant experience in underwriting General business
– Good command of the English language (Written and spoken)
– Strong knowledge in Excel and use of systems

Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
