Requirements:

  • BA degree Hotel Management or a related degree.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in food business field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as operations manager.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, outlook).
  • HACCP certification, ISO Knowledge is a plus.
  • Advanced basic food hygiene and safety.
  • Train the Trainer and other training certifications are a plus.
  • Attention to details and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Physically fit and ready to work long hours.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Reviews and analyzes sales and prepare improvement action plans.
  • Reviews all training records, ensures that all units have the proper training material and prepares and implement the annual training calendar.
  • Completes daily, weekly and monthly schedule of tasks, activities, programs and initiatives.
  • Conducts monthly meetings with branch managers and highlight on pending tasks.
  • Maintains and improves the quality inspections in branches and follows up corrective actions with the branch Manager.
  • Makes sure complete of the commitment of branch managers in approved policies and procedures.
  • Monitors and conducts food tasting during spot checks.
  • Monitors and follows up on items presentation and display.
  • Supervise actions and follow up on guest satisfaction with the customer service.
  • Maintains adherence to company standards and policies at all times.
  • Works on meeting the sales budget and discuss variances with branch managers
  • Monitors the P&L of each branch and makes sure that financials are well managed.
  • Controls wastages and minimize labor, operating and food costs.
  • Encourages and pushes the sales for all menu items.
  • Submits monthly and quarterly reports for sales performance of the branch.
  • Conducts appraisals for managers on regular basis.
  • Follows up closely on staff performance and productivity.
  • Maintains excellent communications with branch managers and healthy relations with his superiors.
  • Meets periodically with the general manager to discuss business updates.
  • Follows up with the branch manager for the Local Store Marketing (LSM) and makes sure of its implementation.
  • Motivates and supports the branch managers with specific issues, such as staffing and business management.
  • Interviews all staff levels after HRD, screens and recruits with focus on hiring potential staff.
  • Follows up on branch managers’ schedule and approves on changes while being aware of all staff schedule.
