Description
Back in the 1960s, Beirut was well known for being the printing press of the Arab World. With down town Beirut as its birth place, Salim Dabbous Printing Co. enjoyed a privilege few printers in the region did: it was easy to reach and the company was eager to reach out and make connections with its growing number of clients. Today, with its headquarters in the same location, and its large printing facility in Bchamoun just outside Beirut, the company has reached out to clients in three continents: Asia, Africa and Europe. We are very proud of what we have accomplished; what once was the location of a company that started back in 1959 is now only a small corner in the premises. We aim to introduce the new shift from 2D Printing to 3D Printing and to cover all sectors that can benefit from the 3D printing services, and they are many! 3D PRINTING or additive manufacturing is a process of making three-dimensional solid objects from a 3D digital file. The creation of 3D printed objects is achieved by using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the entire object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross-section of the eventual object. In recent years, the term 3D PRINTING has become more known and the technology has reached the broader public. Manufacturers specifically have long used these printers in their design process to create prototypes for traditional manufacturing and research purposes. Using 3D printers for these purposes is called rapid prototyping. The 3D PRINTING technology is redefining industries worldwide, and is opening the doors for you to produce your own tailor-made prototypes, and we're very glad to be a part of it - See more at: http://www.yelleb.com/company/348452/Salim_Dabbous_Printing_Company#sthash.GFu7Gl4Z.dpuf
